PANGUCHI THEATRE CENTER (PTC)

The Panguchi Theatre Group is working to create social awareness through the medium of the theatre and cultural programs. Their strategy uses student participation in its programs to build strong relationships with parents and prospective donors. Using Parent Teacher Association meetings as forum, the PTC encourages student involvement and works to create a parent donor network. Parents are then encouraged to use their social contacts to bring others into this donor group. PTC also raises funds through its shows and cultural events. These events serve to create increased interest in their organization and to generate further investment. This strategy has resulted in the enlistment of 60 regular donors who contribute between 20 and 500 Taka per month.
