El Ceibal Asociacion Civil believes that it is possible to have a fair society in which citizens can exercise all of their rights and where communities are allowed to have autonomy.  To this end, El Ceibal has created a micro-credit service for low-income communities in Santiago del Estero.  Social investors place money into a Social Investment Fund to create lending credit for rural communities.  El Ceibal distributes monthly reports to the investors informing them of the economic yield of their capital investment and the achievements of the beneficiaries of the credit.  Because of their investment, many investors become volunteers in the different areas of the organization.
