CEPRAM

By seeking to educate children who are unaware of local cultural heritage, CEPRAM has designed a project that offers a combined service and product to improve young people’s perception of the elderly. The service is a guided tour given by three elderly people to CSOs or to groups of 40 children from public or private schools in Cordoba. The Ciceros (senior citizens) are the tour hosts and they narrate, read a story or perform a small puppet show in the historical site that they visit.

The guided tours can be replicated in any neighborhood, city, or important area in which senior citizens reside and can implement the organization and intergenerational activities.
